i live in a democratic country, but i am not allowed to discuss christian matters with others. not canvassing, just discussing with others feeling the same. i cannot be 'me' at work. christians are hammered around every nook & corner lately.

i think that if you are discussing christian matters with others who actually feel the same, you will not have any problem. the reason people are not happy with christians today is that they -- and their leaders -- repeatedly attempt to impose their values on everyone else legislatively, limiting our lives. examples are trying to make abortions illegal, or not allowing gay marriage. most of us also don't appreciate conversion attempts. we live in a country where we expect not to have to live by religious codes we don't subscribe to. expect it to get worse if christians like yourself do not speak out to their leadership and tell them to keep preaching to the choir and leave the rest of us alone. peace.
